MY PHILOSOPHY.... We always have been, and will continue to remain small. I have never owned more than 6 dogs at a time and currently only three. I love my dogs dearly and they are well cared for. But, dogs are not my life. They are a passion, yes, but not my life. I have two young children and a husband. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time for socializing my kids and my puppies. I believe in honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness above all else. I willingly discuss all faults and concerns of my breedings with every puppy buyer. There isn't a Cocker that exists without some hereditary issues. It is in the sharing of information, that a breeder can best assist their puppy buyers in the breeding of better Cockers. Pet puppies are available on spay/neuter contracts only and only on limited registration. I do my best to research pedigrees thoroughly and to breed to permanently clear and OFA Good or better dogs whenever possible. I warranty eyes and hips on all puppies whether pet or show, and warranty all show puppies against disqualifying faults. In addition to eye and hip clearances, I also screen for thyroid, Thyroglobulin Auto Antibody, VWD, and Factor 10 on my bitches used for breeding. I encourage others to conduct the same testing. From Whence They Came.......... In 1996, I was able to get a nice buff line going with the purchase of a fabulous bitch from Susan Cooper of Never Blue. CH Never Blue's Dance Era, aka Cricket, was owner/handled for her singles and finished with back to back majors by Tracy Carroll at 13 months of age. Cricket was bred twice to the late CH Crazy Q's What a Joke, producing 5 Champions out of only 7 puppies. One of the pups from this breeding, CH TLC N' Oz Just Kidding, aka "Joey" went on to win the Westminster Kennel Club Best of Variety in 2000. Another puppy bitch remained here at Oz, and finished her Championship at 10 months of age with multiple Sweepstakes BOV and Variety wins. She is CH Oz's The Last Laugh, out of the last litter produced by Joker. Chloe is our hope for the future. THE FUTURE.... Oz is proud to announce the arrival of a litter out of CH Oz's The Last Laugh, "Chloe", sired by CH Beaujolais' Minnesota Magic, "Kirby", whelped 02/03/2001. These 4 bitches and 2 dogs entered the show ring August 2001. All of these kids were pointed from the 6-9 class. ALL are now finished!!!!!! 4 have Variety wins over specials, 4 have specialty majors and 4 finished with three majors! This breeding has been repeated. Litter whelped 4/22/02, 3 buff dogs, 1 buff bitch. Watch for their debut later this year!
